What changes the price
- Size. Bigger prints take longer to lay down, layer by layer.
- Colours. Every colour change adds print time, so designs with many colours side by side cost a little more. Our guide to what multi-colour 3D printing costs shows real numbers.
- Not the font, and not the quantity. Fancy fonts cost the same, and so does the fifth copy of a design.
Designs that don't fit a size
A design bigger than the largest size, or one with far more colour changes than its size covers (an 8-colour photo on a small keychain, say), is priced exactly from its own print: the plastic, the machine time and every colour change. The designer shows that price and the reason before you add it to your cart.
