Custom desk name plates

Designed for a desk, read from across the room

A good name plate is read from a few metres away, so we built the templates around two lines: your name large, your title or department smaller. The name is typically 12 to 16 mm tall, which stays legible from across an office or a classroom. Choose from 125 fonts, from crisp corporate sans to friendly rounded letters for a teacher's desk.

Plates come up to 200 mm long and 3 to 4 mm thick. A gold or contrasting border, raised so it catches the light, frames the name. You can also add a small logo or icon beside the text.

Colours that suit your space

Most offices want something quiet: black with white or gold lettering, or white with navy. Classrooms and kids' desks go bright. Whatever you pick, every colour is solid plastic, so it won't fade like a printed label or peel like vinyl. Our colours page shows every spool we have in stock, by name.

For a plate that stands on its own, lean it against a monitor stand or a book, use a small plate stand, or stick it to a desk divider with removable mounting tape. We don't add adhesive, so the plate stays reusable.

Ordering plates for a whole team? Design one, then copy it and change the name for each person. They print from the same template, so they match exactly, and they ship in one parcel. How we make it

Your desk name plate is printed to order in solid, durable plastic, in fine layers with every colour running right through. Before it prints, we open your design and its preview and check that every detail will come out: that's the Maker Check. Then it's packed in a padded mailer and handed to Canada Post.

Shipping and timing

We print within a few business days of checking your order. Shipping is a flat CA$19.95 anywhere in Canada, tracked, and several prints share one mailer. Canada Post delivers in about 2 to 9 business days. Details on our shipping page.
